Wild Bear’s Mud Lake property sits just off the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway on the North side of CR 128, also known as Indian Peaks Drive.

Nestled at the corner of Highway 72 and Indian Peaks Drive, this beautiful stretch of land is home to towering lodgepole and ponderosa pines, Douglas fir, and stands of aspen. You will hear birds calling and the wind rustling through the trees. If you are lucky, you might spy a chickaree, elk, or even coyote.

 FUTURE NET-ZERO NATURE CENTER

Get excited for our brand new nature center which will be opening it’s doors in 2024.

Strategically located along the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway, the new nature center will be a destination for visitors from all over the world, as well as a valuable resource for regional families.

Wild Bear’s property provides easy access to thousands of acres of preserved land and 16 miles of trails.

The new nature center will become a landmark for the Nederland community and a statewide beacon of environmental education for the area.
