Last year, 153 amazing volunteers donated 3,990 hours to helping Wild Bear fulfill its mission. There are lots of ways to help out!
Event volunteers will assist Wild Bear Nature Center staff with planning, preparation, and hosting a variety of events from guided hikes, booths at the farmers market, workshops, and fundraising events.
Makerspace volunteers will assist guests with creating fun, earth friendly crafts and art, set up and clean up after Makerspace programs/open houses, and help plan weekly makerspace activities for the community.
The education volunteer will assist the education staff with children, family and adult educational programs including nature enrichment, summer camps, field trips, and workshops.
Docents will create a welcoming and engaging environment at Wild Bear Nature Center for visitors. Docents will provide information for visitors to best enjoy and explore the nature center and local area.
Wild Bear Nature Center is looking for volunteers to work in the
Eco-Arts Lounge, Wild Bear’s community art space. This is a great opportunity to work on your art while helping others.
