Wild Bear is excited to welcome Zoe Lewis, LCSW as she will be presenting on how to cope with the challenging emotions that many people are experiencing in the face of climate change. This presentation will include practical tools to address anxiety, depression, and other emotions, and it will aim to pull participants out of despair and toward hope through action. Participants will have the opportunity to share their own feelings about climate change and to receive support and tools for resilience. This talk is best for ages 16 and up.
Zoe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain. She incorporates the wilderness, movement, and art into her therapy sessions, using a mindfulness based approach. She owns a private practice in Nederland called “Sole Talk Therapy.”
