No matter your choice of winter mountain exploration – snowshoes, splitboard, or skis, it is important to have the skills to assess and keep clear of avalanche danger in our touchy Colorado snowpack. Come learn about how to keep yourself safe while exploring these beautiful snowy mountains! Jill Yarger, professional avalanche hazard management instructor and national ski patroller, will be covering tools and resources to pick a trail, things to look for while you’re out there, and group decision making to make every adventure safer!
