Child Care Assistance Program COVID updates via Boulder County CCAP
Wild Bear Provider # 12347
Dear Boulder County CCAP Provider,
We, like you, are evaluating constantly-evolving information and trying to make the best decisions possible. This email contains updates to Boulder County CCAP policy and practice, designed to support you and our CCAP families in these unprecedented times.
Parent fees will be waived for all CCAP clients for the months of May and June. Please do not collect parent fees for these two months.
In addition, parent fees will adjust per our normal policy. If a parent loses their job or is not working for any other reason and reports $0 income to CCAP, the parent will be placed in the “job search” category for up to 25 weeks. During this period, parent fees will be reduced to $0, starting the month following the month in which zero income is reported.
Boulder County CCAP continues to process applications. Clients can apply online now through PEAK at www.Colorado.gov/PEAK. Completed paper applications can be scanned or pictures of the application can be emailed to Imaging@BoulderCounty.org . Paper applications are available at www.BoulderCountyChildCare.org
We may be able to expedite applications for emergency child care for essential workforce. To request an expedited application, please email CCAP@BoulderCounty.org.
For all May redeterminations, we are using DocuSign to simplify and expedite the process electronically. Clients can use any electronic device (computer, cell phone or tablet) to fill out the redetermination form through DocuSign and submit it electronically. Families that don’t have access to an electronic device can work with us to complete it on paper. Scanned documents or photographs of documents should be submitted to Imaging@BoulderCounty.org If a family has lost their redetermination packet, they should email CCAP@BoulderCounty.org and a new one will be emailed through DocuSign.
Please visit www.boco.org/COVID-19Resources for comprehensive resources during COVID-19, including emergency food, financial, cash and health care assistance. If you have questions or need assistance with the CCAP program, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for all you do and will continue to do during this challenging time.
