Book your group for Snow School today!

Schedule your group with Wild Bear Nature Center for a snowshoe trek through the forests of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, at Mud Lake or Eldora Nordic Center! Learn the importance of snowpack, study snow science, winter ecology and our local watershed. By utilizing state of the art snow science equipment, we will gain knowledge to help us to protect nature and conserve water

Wild Bear Nature Center partners with Winter Wildlands Alliance to bring classrooms up to 8250 feet to Nederland (20 miles west of Boulder, Colorado) for a day of exploration with Climate and Snow Scientists from the CU Mountain Research Station. SnowSchool is a national initiative and Wild Bear is considered a flagship SnowSchool site.

Bring your classroom up to slap on some snowshoes, play in the snow and dig into some REAL hands-on science to study snow, water, and winter ecology with local scientists and naturalists.
