Jill Dreves, Wild Bear Executive Director, holds a Master of Science degree in Museum and Field Studies, focusing in Entomology Education. Growing up, Jill could be found in the mountains of Northern Colorado riding her horse, Blue, with a butterfly net in her pack. Inspired by her childhood immersion in nature, career as a naturalist, and 10 years teaching elementary school, Jill founded Wild Bear in 1995. She enjoys hiking, telemark skiing, creative endeavors, and playing with her two sons, Sam and Charlie, in the outdoors.

Freya Henry, Youth Program Coordinator, holds a B.A. in Biology.  She has worked as an educator for museums, nature centers, and camps around the country.  Before joining the staff at Wild Bear, Freya lead children's programs for the Denver Botanic Gardens, and assistant-directed an after-school program for the YMCA of Boulder Valley. Freya's passion for exploring and caring for the natural world has been with her since she was a child. She loves witnessing today's Wild Bears develop that same passion.

Jillian Crowley, M.A.(R), M.A.A.  Jillian is excited to be with Wild Bear
Center for Nature Discovery as the organization's Office Manager.  She has several years of experience as an executive assistant, development
officer, grantwriter, and public relations coordinator.   Jillian moved to
Colorado from St. Louis two years ago and has decided to join Wild Bear to
help further its mission of holistic, environmental health and education.
Jillian's 5-year-old daughter enjoys learning and exploring with Wild Bear and says that it is “The mostest funnest part of her day."

Reba Mitchell, Environmental Educator, holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Louisiana State University. As a Research Assistant in the Geology Department at UNO, she assisted Graduate Students with research projects and was in charge of gathering data in the wetlands for a geomorphological study. With the will to become more immersed in an ecologically-minded community, Reba and her family moved to Nederland in August of 2001.  Before joining Wild Bear's staff, Reba became involved with Wild Bear as a volunteer.  Reba is skilled in pottery, and her son Ben is in 5th grade at NES.

Brenda Galvin, Environmental Educator, can be found leading the After School Program during the school year, and leading Friday workshops during the summer.  She has many years of experience working with children and the outdoors, and has traveled extensively throughout Colorado.  Brenda lives in Nederland with her dog Belita, and enjoys gardening, reading and hiking.
