School Year Programs

All School Year Programs are offered in the Discovery Lab and surrounding areas at Nederland Elementary School.

Nature Discovery After School Program Held at the Nederland Elementary School Discovery Lab & surrounding nature trails. For students age 5-12.

3:00pm-6:00pm
3:00-3:30 We will enjoy snack and sharing
3:30-4:00 Outdoor play
4:00-5:00 Many rich activities will be provided during this time, such as interesting guest speakers, crafts, outdoor games, fort building etc.
5:00-6:00 Homework help club and hands on activities for all ages

PRICING: One day drop in (24 hour notice required) $20/day2 days/week: $130/month ($16.25/day)3 days/week: $186/month ($15.50/day)4 days/week: $236/month ($14.75/day)5 days/week: $280/month ($14/day)
(Wild Bear accepts CCAPP and provides a 50% discount to families who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch.10% discount on your 2nd child's registration)

Fun hands-on art programs inspired by the Earth to help build and celebrate our community in the After School Program. Students already signed up for the ASP will automatically be apart of this special opportunity!

Winter Celebrations Pottery ~ Friday November 30, 2007 Come in from the cold and craft something special to give to family or friends for the Holidays! Gifts will be fired and ready for pickup by December 15th.

Kid's Film Festival ~ Friday January 18, 2008
Sit back and relax as we enjoy popcorn and movies with a message. We will begin by viewing a collection of short animated films that educate while entertaining, and conclude with the feature-length documentary "Microcosmos," which offers a fun and fascinating view of the tiny creatures on our planet. Learn about what plants need to thrive, and why flowers are so important. Decorate a pot, and fill it with flowers to take home and care for!
