Programs for 5-6 year olds
NederBugs!
Calling all NederBugs! Come explore earth art, Colorado wildlife, plants, garden harvest and nature’s own ooey and gooey world! Through hands on, art-based activities, dig and observe the natural world. We’ll get a little messy, put together projects and most importantly...have fun! August 4-8: Earthly Expressions (MWF) & Ooey Gooey Nature (T/Th); August 11-15: Colorado Critters (MWF) & Lil' Sprouts (T/Th). You may sign your child up for MWF and/or T/Th. 2 day/$95, 3 day/$140

Programs for 6-8 year olds
Magical Mountain Artists
Create by nature's design! We'll explore environmental art through music, paints, patterns, clay, cameras, dyes, stories and theatre. Let the Earth and its wonders inspire you to imagine the possibilities! August 4, 6, 8 - MWF, 1 week program $140
Ooey Gooey Nature!
Roll up your sleeves and get ready to make a mess! Discover nature's very own sticky polymers! Enjoy two days of slime and ooze as we learn about chemistry basics. August 5 & 7 - T/Th, 1 week program $95
Animaniacs
For all those wildlife lovers and young zoologists, join us for a trip through the animal kingdom! Learn about predator-prey relationships while we explore the lives of reptiles, birds, mammals and more! August 11, 13, 15 - MWF, 1 week program $140
Happy Harvest Party!
Grab your baskets & straw hats...it's harvest time! Take a closer look at what our Discovery Gardens have grown. Help the garden prepare for autumn and take home the fruits of our labor. August 12 & 14 - T/Th, 1 week program $95

Programs for 7-10 year olds
Nature's Music-Makers
Music reminds us of the ever-present harmony we share with nature. Open your ears and reconnect with us! Meet with local musicians and make your own instruments! August 4, 6, 8 - MWF, 1 week program $140
Eco-Challenge
TAKE THE CHALLENGE! Learn how to beat the trash monster in your homes and in your community! Become a steward of the Earth as we create a compost bin, plant trees and take on global issues. August 5 & 7 - T/Th, 1 week program $95
Eco-Architects
Explore the world of environmentally friendly architecture, from straw and mud to recycled tires and solar power. Build your own structures that work with the elements of the Earth. August 11, 13, 15 - MWF, 1 week program $140
WildCrafters!
Become a junior herbalist as we create herbal crafts using gifts from nature! Learn about the special uses of our garden harvest while we make natural soap and salve, chap-stick and potpourri! August 12 & 14 - T/Th, 1 week program $95 WildCrafters!

Programs for 9-12 year olds
Backcountry Camp Craft
Learn the skills necessary to successfully set up a low impact back country camp. Incorporating the principles of Leave No Trace (LNT), we'll learn how to rig a bear bag, build a mound fire (if permitted), set up a tarp and cook! August 4, 6, 8 - MWF, 1 week program $140
Alpine Expeditions II
Grab your hiking boots and head for the hills! Explore mountain trails filled with wildflowers, buzzing insects and cool rock formations. Hike a new trail everyday and learn to navigate through the mountains! August 5 & 7 - T/Th, 1 week program $95
Primitive Survivors II
Let the circle of life be your guide! Continue to discover the deep connection and respect our ancestors had for the Earth. Learn advanced shelter building, make cordage out of native plants and learn how to make beads from stone. August 11, 13, 15 - MWF, 1 week program $140
Advanced Field Photography
Join our whirlwind Eco-Photo-Expedition! Photograph everything from scenic landscapes to wildlife and waterfalls while learning about composition and technique! Develop your negatives and enlarge your prints in the darkroom! Students will need a 35mm manual camera and 1 roll of 36 exp. T-Max 200 speed black & white film. Telephoto and macro lens are highly recommended. August 12 & 14 - T/Th, 1 week program $95 plus $15 additional material fee
